FAQs

  • What is concierge medicine?

Concierge medicine is a healthcare model that puts doctors in direct care of patients, without the gatekeeping of insurers.  Payment is made directly to the doctor, and care is prioritized for health outcome over insurance profits.  Responsive, comprehensive care, low wait times for doctor access, and unhurried office visits are the hallmarks of concierge medicine.

  • Why did Dr. Van leave her thriving practice for concierge medicine?

Although her practice was thriving, she found it harder to control the health outcomes for her patients.  The number of patients she had to see was hampering the quality and thoroughness of care.  Dedication to her patients encouraged her to find a healthcare model more suited to her level of patient care.

  • Do you accept insurance?

No we do not.  This eliminates restrictions and limits on services that can be provided.  You may be able to get reimbursed for visits.  We encourage you to contact your insurer for eligibility and requirements.

  • Would I still need insurance?

We strongly recommend maintaining insurance coverage for all the other services we do not provide.

  • Do you accept Medicare?
